Is AMS module alive? Since last release in March 2010 there were some bugs reported, some questions asked and there is no answer. The author's NovaSmart last login was in November 2010.

I like this module, especially it's Spotlight feature. But I don't want to be left alone as it was with wf-Section some time ago.

Or is there other recommended news module?

Right now it looks like AMS is not developed any longer.

Right probably the best bets for your is News and Publisher, unless you want to have content for a smaller site, then fmContent could be another option.

- AMS

Voltan suggested previously that we merge the new features from xNews back into News, and then add the best features from AMS, and have only one News module.

I don't know how are his current time commitments, so maybe he can address it himself.

But maybe other people could form a team and help Voltan to make it happen?
