hello

I have the same problem and isn't solved for me yet. when I want install shoutbox I get this message:

Error : Smarty error: [in db:shoutbox_block.html line 15]: syntax error: unidentified token '#039;1'' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 1410)

what should I do? I really need this module now... Please Help me.

Also, which version of Shoutbox did you try to install?

hello.

My xoops version is 2.5.3 and I tried shoutbox 4 and 5.01. I have problem in both versions.

If both have the same problem, then there are probably some problems with templates. I think, I remember seeing something about it - this might be related to UTF-8 and some issues with BOM, but I am not sure right now.

Try to test Shoutbox 5.01 on a new version of XOOPS 2.5.6 and let us know if it works.
