I was working on a "Basic Module Pack" by updating the GUI of these modules, so they have similar look and feel, similar to the "Slideshow" module recently updated by Kris, and the TDMCreate module interface.

I was recently working on the Tag module, but there is still a lot of work to do.

Let me know what you had in mind for the Tag module.

My focus was strictly on the GUI, so no new features, and since I am definitely not a URL rewrite expert, it will need to be somebody else to do it...

Since we are often asked the collaboration of developers, why not work together to create a good module basis of TDMCreate module?

Mamba if you take the initiative to start a new thread, I'm sure everyone will join in the drafting of a uniform code for the future of the next modules

I started with the files:

xoops_version.php
all languages files, but needed a different kind of work with these type of inclusion in jquery admin to manually enter each champs with '+' for to defines.

Eliminate too much html code in admin, replacing it with functions or classes
Create all the CSS code in separate file for menus and more.

All the necessary files in architetture.php file, this is short actual code

other ideas will surely while building

I would love to see a good teamwork on the TDMCreate module. We had recently a thread about testing and changes, so we could continue at that thread there

I think important option in tag module is : Related Articles . we need option to show some Related Articles in each page ( under tag bar ) and perhaps make sitemap.xml

I've made few other cosmetic changes to the Tag module.

I've also made similar cosmetic changes to MyLinks module.

The goal is to create the same "look & feel" for our modules, so first time users can quickly learn how to use them. These modules will be then placed in a "Basic Module Pack".

I am also working now on Marquee and XoopsFAQ.

Could you please check out the Tag and MyLinks and let me know if the GUI is OK?

Please note: the goal is to have the same GUI as modules created by TDMCreate. Of course, we can modify TDMCreate as well, if we think, we can improve the generated GUI there.

So if you have other ideas on how to improve the GUI, let's share them

I like new gui in tag module . all thing is good . but I think if we add help page in module system help is better .

what do you thing?
