Profile Recent Activity - How to?

hallo anybody,

could someone tell me how the recent activity in profile works?

I would like to add the recent activity items of a module i'm writing, under the user profile.

I'm not sure where to start from.

Does it have to do with notifications?

I just want every time a user adds something in the db, to be shown in his profile... Any tips are welcomed.

You may have to just look through the code yourself. I did not get to that code when I was looking through profile yet. I find that sometimes it is quicker to just look at the code and figure it out.

Sorry I am not being very helpful but it is what I end up doing alot of the time.

this is what I ussually do. I also tried looking at other modules to see what is happening, i think it has something to do with the notifications. But i'm not sure.

Thats why i asked here, to see if someone knows for sure.
