How to restrict jquery script to home page only

Hello everyone,

I have implemented a jquery based javascript, but i want it to appear only on the home page header of the site, no where else. Does anyone have an idea how I can restrict it to the home page?

Something similar to Maitscoportal here https://xoops.org/modules/extgallery/public-photo.php?photoId=1567
