Hi!
i upgrade the Xoops 2.3.3b to 2.4.4 but the Protector 3.50 say problems with
'mainfile.php' : missing precheck
and
'databasefactory.php' : Your databasefactory is not ready for DBLayer Trapping anti-SQL-Injection. Some patches are required.

i have removed the pre and poscheck in mainfile. the 2.4.4 need it? it´s correctly remove?

i upgrade from upgrade packed. but the protector i put 3.5.

On Gijoe Website there are those instructions (may be also in readme.txt)

However, you have to patch a file "class/database/databasefactory.php" to enable the feature.

I prepared patches/ folder, and it contains patched databasefactory.php for each cores.

I have two sites with Xoops.
One i don´t have problem with protector, and i disable pre and poscheck!

And the second (this) i remove the pre and poscheck and have problems with protector.

Have you updated module, with the two folders ?
• /xoops_lib/modules/protector
• /www/modules/protector/

Still learning CSS and... english

yes, i send.
i send, send again... but the protector alert mainfile (and databasefactory too).
if i put pre and poscheck, the alert is over.

but this version 2.4.4 don´t need pre and poscheck in mainfile :(

if any idea, help me ;)

i´m searching a solution.

3.50 is a beta.

I would suggest to use the Protector that comes with 2.4.4
