I have just installed the X-torrents module to my site and after i clicked install my admin page now has gone blank.

I tried manually removing the module by removing dropping all Tables from the database that related to x-torrent and deleted the files off the server in the hope that it would fix the issue but it seems that the install has most likely modified some files or sql entries possibly.

Any ideas on this.

The module loaded and installed correctly when i checked the front end of the site but the admin back end had gone all blank. I can't even get into the preferences to turn debug mode on to see if any errors come up.

do you have access to phpmyadmin ?

you can turn the debug from there ..


Search for yourdbprefix_config

search for conf_name:debug_mode

change the value from 0 to 1

Thanks for that it seemed that i had fixed the issue but it was still in the cache so had not given it a chance to refresh. Silly me forgot all about the cache.....

I ad to delete all the files and subdirectories in xtorrent, except xoops_version.php

then deactivate and uninstall the module.
