Hi there, my host changed the password on my account today because of their security issues and my site is now gone down with this message

XOOPS path check: Script is not inside XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and cannot run.

I know this is to do with todays new password and i have downloaded the mainfile.php and changed it there but it hasnt worked.

Should i be changing the password in another file??

Hi

If i read your post, the message say that the path where XOOPS is/was installed change. I believe your hoster copy the files and folders outside the public folder, thats all. All what you need is the new path and not new pass(word) i think.

All sorted now, the host had moved me to a new server so the path wasnt working correctly but all done now.
