Thanks everyone! I'm pretty sure I won't name him XOOPS though

Regarding the module, I've downloaded the trunk files myself and updated two different 1.3 installations to 1.31 and they both work without any bugs (at least none that I have discovered).

Maybe if someone else could try and install it/update it over an existing 1.3 version we could get some confirmation if it seems to work for anyone but me.

i made a clean install XOOPS 2.4.4 and this module...same problem as sarahmx...

anyone having same problem?

OK, I just tried it out on a 2.5 alpha install and got the same error. Seems to be something that was introduced in 2.4.4 that is causing this, since I can run it just fine in 2.4.3.

Just to confirm, sarahmx, are you running 2.4.4 too?

I will investigate further tonight and report back.

EDIT: Couldn't wait. It was the global module handler that wasn't working. Fixed it now. Please download from original link and try again.

Haven't installed this yet but is there a way to tie the poll stuff into the comment or rating system? My intention is to make a way to have a poll setup to rate a file or maybe a web link and then use this poll as a rating system instead of the normal 5 star rating system.

If used with web links then you could have a list of the links and brief description with the 5 star rating system. When someone goes into the description of the link they can then see the poll results. The polls could be totaled and averaged to come up with the over all rating.

Just a thought...

I don't really see the benefit, or maybe I don't understand what you're after. Sounds like you would be better off modifying/extending the internal rating system of the specific module.
