I installed module Profile on XOOPS 2.4.2.

I have created a country select but that field has not been working properly, its showing every user is in UK.

What I did
On the module profile I created a FIELD called Country of Residence on the default Category.
Field Type - Select
Value Type - Text field
Options - I added 27 EU countries with UK being default.
I set it to Show in registration form on Basic

Until there everything is fine and the field is well showing on the registration and drop down works as expected.

The problem is that if during the registration a user chooses a country e.g Germany or Spain its only showing UK on the user profile after the registration is complete.

When you try to edit under profile from UK drop down and select Sweden, the profile remains UK.

So now all my registered users are being displayed as living in UK.

example User name Peter, city of residence Berlin, country of residence united kingdom.

Please help with advice on how to deal with this problem.

edit: don't know what happen but it is working right now...

bumpeboy try delete and recreate the field...



btw i think the none in select box should be replace as PLEASE SELECT

when user select none it is prompt to select a value..none is not an option
