Hi,

I am a real newbie, to everything. so sorry if this question is trivial - i could not find an answer using the search.

I have purchased a domain and hosting from "Dotster.com", they have an option to install XOOPS for the site and i have used it, and indeed when i go the site's address i get the XOOPS pages.
However, after looking into the tutorials, i wanted to install a theme. so i downloaded the theme, and then wanted to extract it into the themes dir but i could not find it. i have ftp'd to the site and this is what i see in the dir structure:

-Log
-Temp
-Webspace
|-certs
|-cgi-bin
|-conf
|-error docs
|-.htaccess
|-httpdocs
|-httpsdocs
|-pd
|-siteapps
|-webapps
|-webstat
|-webstatssl

So my question is: where should i extract the files to ?

Thanks,
Elad

It's probably under:

/httpdocs

See if you can find there /themes, and if yes, then you can unzip your theme there, of course, under it's name, e.g.: /themes/newtheme

I could not find the directory anywhere and could get it to work, to i simply installed it from scratch and it works fine.

Thanks.
Elad.
