Membership module: Who's online block issue

Resized ImageHi, I've got a quoestion regarding the Who's online block of the Membership module. For example, it shows that 18 users are registered today. However if you look at the block the next day after that it will show that let's say only 14 users were registered yesterday (e.g. you can see that I had 14 users registered yesterday, altho' I had over 20 of those). How come if it showed another statisctics the day before?

Maybe there is a difference about users who are active and not.
I'll have to check it.
