Extgallery urgent help needed plz

Hi everyone.
I have been trying to make extgallery work without issues for several days but in vain i am stuck with this module and wish you will help me.

First, in preferences I set the upload mode to standard, but in the member side clicking on Upload a photo redirects to the Extended mode
http://localhost/modules/extgallery/public-upload-extended.php

normally it should be
http://localhost/modules/extgallery/public-upload.php

Second, I created a test album, then i deleted it, but the photos are still displayed. In local host i could delete them manually in the upload folder (which is not perfect), however their names (places)are still in the member side.
Moreover, in the real server, i couldn't even delete them from the root/upload/extgallery folder.

Please help me, because it is a nice module that i don't wish to leave desperately.

I'm also having a problem.

The photos and the thumbnails don't appear, only a photo placeholder.

Server configurationeXtGallery Version : 1.0.6

XOOPS Version : XOOPS 2.3.2 (OK)

Graphics GD library version : bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
GIF support : OK
JPEG support : OK
PNG support : OK

Upload max filesize : 2M

Zoullou isn't answering on his own website either

Figured it out myself.
First, all photos must be no larger than 640x480
Second, all photo names must be lower case, including the extension, with no spaces

Now it works!

(and none of this is mentioned in the documentation or on zoullou's website)

Frankly Extgallery needs more work to make of it a full working module. It still has many bugs and I hope someone of the devoloppers will join Zoullou to fix them. Cooperation makes the modules get updated fast and easily. Waiting for 5 months or more to fix a bug isn't really good for XOOPS community and XOOPS lovers.

I agree. every once and i while i notice it looses photos and you have to upload them back into the batch directory and reinstall them.

it should have the usual upload from your computer instead of FTP batch uploading and installing

Does anyone know how I can stop ExtGallery from showing the name of a photo in the gallery?

I found it, if anyones interested

remove <{$photo.photo_desc}>

from the template file extgallery_public-photo.html
