in the admin panel, i created some tribes, but when i go to tribes (outside of the admin panel) there are none showing.

i noticed when creating tribes, there are lots of options that can be checked or unchecked. i would assume these are permissions based on each group. i'd like for the group members to have the default permissions given them as registered members. is it necessary to check these off in here also, in order for them to appear in the groups list?

I understand what you want but this currently without a hack or a module cannot be done directly from the core.

Look around the site for the membership module or have a look in the module repository.

This will be in a future addition of Xoops, when I don't know :)
