My understanding is that support is available via the french XOOPS site rather than directly via the Instant Zero site.

And why isn't he supporting it here anymore.

Lets face it, if you don't speak French, there is no support

Well to be really honest about this, when you start actually producing a whole load of modules, trying to keep up with them in many different places really starts to become a chore. I know that myself when I did all the WF modules.

I would try posting in English and if he doesn't answer, tell him I will put a hex on him ;)

I did and it was ignored.

He never used to be like this, before he started 'selling' modules

Well, with all due respect he is allowed to sell support for his modules and I suppose those paying for support do come first, good business sense really.

I am quite sure that there are a few people around that will help with problems and we won't charge you much..... We only want your first born ;)

It's not true!

Herve is a very nice person and he is friendly. I had some problems with Oledrion and I have made him admin account on my site and he found the problem!

So.. maybe he have no time. Simple. When you are developing opensource stuff I suppose that you must eat something and have a *paid* job to pay you bills etc. :)

I totally agree! Herve is a great guy who is a big supporter of XOOPS, and who has spent countless hours developing for XOOPS and supporting XOOPS users. But he has to pay his bills too! As Catzwolf said - if he has to spend more time supporting his paying customers first, that makes a good business sense.

And for all of us - if you found and are using a good module, don't be afraid to donate to the developer, or to buy some other module from him to support this developer. The same is for XOOPS (hint, hint)

Trust me - each XOOPS developer would like nothing more than spend 24 hours coding for XOOPS while not having to worry about paying his rent and his bills. But if we have to pay the rent and bills, then we have to look for ways to make money, so we can support ourselves and our families. That means that sometimes we have less time for XOOPS, that sometimes we cannot respond to an email or call for support on the forums. As volunteers, we do that in our "free time", and sometimes we don't have much left of it, if other responsibilities take over.
Support XOOPS => DONATE

I figured out how to remove the number of reads, etc but does anyone know how to get rid of the topic and story name?

Is there a way to stop this from showing?
