Yeap I know that trabis but i must say that i´m still a bit afraid of the old demon called "compatibility" besides the fact that for us, not english native speakers, it will be a big pain in the a...... get all the ISO translated modules and one by one conver them to UTF8. But, hey I know the world goes UTF, i´m just taking a breath to once again start this translation/conversion "dirty job" . Just feeling kind of lazy

I like the icon approach burning. I could add it to my list to provide these icons and add preference setting to select buttons or icons for display. What do you think?

Who said you have to get UTF8 translations? I don't! Just keep your XOOPS language files in ISO and don´t make any changes in database collation. Set to 'none' while upgrading. No problem.

But back to topic that icon approach is really cool
