How do i make the theme viewable by the public?

I have intalled theme and also made it default but when i tried to view it to the home page. It does not show. What is the problem or what else do i have to do to make it viewable.

Iam trying to learn how to use to xoops. Its my first time.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Sorry for incovencies caused. But it has changed now. Believe me, when i learn how to use this CMS, I will totally turn to it while building my clients websites. But i wonder how to create content or links and be placed on the right side? because my theme has the left and right sides.

Your help will be highly appreciated

Hi,

you can do that by placing blocks to the right side - go to admin -> system admin -> blocks and for the block you want to place there click on the right radio box and set it to be visible. You may have to also select where (top page all pages or some modules) to be visible and give some group permitions.

If that does not work, check the permitions and check that your theme file has something like:

<{if $xoops_showrblock == 1}>
  ...
  ...
<{/if}>
