If I post an image in the news module, even without adding a link to the image, a link will be automatically added.

It used to be like that until recently.

Now, suddenly, my link to the image becomes:

http://www.mysite.com/public/modules/news/(script removed)CaricaFoto("http://www.mysite.com/images/xxx.jpg");


Why it inserts (script removed) instead of javascript:CaricaFoto("....");

Please help, thank you.

hello yyvonne,

this depending on your theme and the problem should appear not only in news, e.g. forum.
check if the following code is somewhere in your theme:
<script type="text/javascript" src="<{$xoops_url}>/include/xoops.js"></script>

I checked, my theme does have the following code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="<{$xoops_url}>/include/xoops.js"></script>


And you are correct, the images in forum and else where also don't work.

Any other possibilities that cause this?

One more thing, it actually works on my localhost (http://127.0.0.1). I uploaded the same theme to my site, then it doesn't work.....

I tried a lot of other themes that I downloaded here, doesn't work too.

It used to work fine... ?????

Does that have anything to do with my hosting?

Or is it possible to disable the function?
