Problems with Smartsection in PHP5

In PHP4 the module it works correctly!! but in PHP5 alone appears the content of the module.

Not anything appears: blocks, footer, header, theme.... Only text of the content of the module.

They could help me??? Please


(I use php5 in mi server)

Most odd behaviour.

This is SmartSection 2.14 with the latest SmartObjects (v1.01 IIRC)? This is a recent module is certainly coded for PHP5.

I use SmartSection 2.13 (doesn't need SmartObject framework) and it is fine on both PHP4 & 5 and has been on both XOOPS 2.0.18.x and 2.3.x

I think you need to look for a cause other than the module itself. could be a theme issue perhaps - have tried using the default theme to rule out that possibility?

I want to join the thread. I used to run smartsection 2.13 and it worked alright. But when I updated it to Smartsection 2.14 I got the same weird behaviour of it, but in the admin section of the module only. I use the "default" theme (xoops 2.2.4) on the admin side and I don't actually want to change it cos of one module. I use PHP 4 and I don't understand what might get wrong.

Some updates... I've tried 3 different themes on the admin side and I still get this weird behaviour of the smartsection module...How do I fix it? Is there a way to degrade the module?
