Is there anyway to clear the cache from the administration menu?

Instead of ftp'ing to my site and deleting the entire contents of the directory?

Hi,

There's no function in admin to do this.

Either use ftp or install the xoopscare module from http://xoops.instant-zero.com/ - this will do it automatically, and lots of other maintenance stuff too. Highly recommended

some of the items in system module clears the cache directory. for example the site_preferences->General Settings after you push the Go! button it clears the cache directory and regenerates the adminmenu.php file and the index.html file that is there.

also if you change your template_set in that step it will also clear compiled templates for that template set (in the template_c directory) and regenerate the compiled templates for the newly set template set.
