I’ve spent a lot of hour trying to upload successfully files using the module WF-Downloads, I really frustrated. The error in debug is the next:

allow_url_fopen - On

what is in the Prefereces to Module wfdownloads as Uploaddir ?
http://www.r-b-c.info/uploads/files/ ?

make sure you have defined the uploads path properly and that it has the correct permissions.

allow_url_fopen does not have to be enabled for wfdownloads to work.
