Is there any known problems running wiwimod on php5?

I recently moved servers and went from php 4.4.4 to 5.25.
Mysql version 5.0.24 to 5.0.45.

Wiwi will not function properly now. upon install the default user will not get configured and none of the editing features work. Most other modules are fine... any other ideas?

From my own experience, wiwimod 0.8.3 works better on php5 than php4; for example, the "Wiwi Recent" block actually works!

I'm running:

XOOPS Version: XOOPS 2.3.1
PHP Version: 5.2.5
MySQL Version: 4.1.20-log

Perhaps you could try skenow's updated version - sounds like he's put a lot of work into it

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look elswhere for the problems. I have tried many different configs including the new one mentioned.

I moved the entire site to a new server and found not everything is working the same. It is very frustrating.

I'd recommend turning on debug in your system preferences to start.

JAVesey is correct, even the original 0.83 worked on php5, though there are some minor things you might have trouble with - the old global vars don't always work ($HTTP_GET_VARS, $HTTP_POST_VARS). Actually going forward, I wouldn't count on it working in PHP4.

The re-release of Wiwimod is much more secure and has a few improvements in how the existing functions work.
