Want to add a link to Main Menu

I want to add a link to my Main Menu block.
When I click to edit that block the click Edit Template, I am allowed to edit but not save my edits...only view. What do I need to do to edit? Change file permissions?

the multimenu module is your better friend
Do synergy or die.

I tried that or something similar that in the past. I either had problems with it working the way it should or it was too cumbersome. I just want to add ONE link. Seems excessive to install and configure an entire new module for one link. I will go and look at it to see if it is the same module I tried before.

**Okay it was iMenu that I tried before not this one.

in your:
/modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_mainmenu.html

add your link as follow:

<a class="menuMain" href="http://yourLinkHere">YourLinkTitle</a>

then recompile your System module
