confirmation code prevent registering new users [solved]

I've been setting up a webserver running XOOPS for testing purposes. However, it is impossible to register new users...
Whenever I try to register as a new user, I receive an error message saying that the confirmation code is wrong. The problem is - The confirmation code is nowhere to be found on the registration form itself...

I found the solution - it all worked after i installed the php gd module.

Thanks, anyway.
