I'm new to Xoops. I'm a .NET programer trying to break into the PHP Open Source world. Anyway, I have a hosting provider that installs XOOPS for free when you buy a hosting package. I'm running XOOPS 2.0.18.1 and have installed a few themes and everythings seems to work. Here's the problem: It has one Module...System. That's it, no content management modules of any kind. Is that normal? I've seen thousands of Modules for download on the XOOPS site. Isn't there a default set of content management modules somewhere? I mean, the basic stuff like links, news, blogs, articles, etc. I can't imagine why a CMS system would at least ship with the basics. I'm not bashing XOOPS, I think its a great product. I'm just confused as to which modules I should pick for download. There's no clear distinction between official XOOPS modules and third party products. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
