How I upgrade XOOPS 2.0.18.2 RC to 2.0.18.2 FInal ?

this is the way?

Upgrading from a previous version
-----------------------------------

Upgrading from XOOPS 2.0.18.1 (easy way)
1. Get the update package from the sourceforge file repository
2. Overwrite your existing files with the new ones

i think you have to delete the mainfile.php in the 2.0182 final

and also clear your tempates_c and cache folder in your current installation (20182rc)

only then you can replace all your files with new ones..

remember also to do backup

for me i use the xoops-2.0.18.2.zip
package

it is the same thing if you use the xoops-2.0.18.1-to-2.0.18.2.tar.gz package

also remmber to update the system module
in the module administration

Hi,

Use the 2.0.18.1 to 2.0.18.2 package. All you need to do is overwrite the files in your existing XOOPS installation with the ones from the package and then update the "system" module in Modules Admin.

No need to do anything to/with mainfile.php at all.
