Xhelp 0.78 and Xhelp 0.77 Error

hi all

I am using XOOPS 2.0.18.1 and Xhelp 0.78 and facing with problem:

Only variable references should be returned by reference in file /modules/xhelp/class/departmentMailBox.php line 215

So that, I cannot do email configuration for Departments, and also modify Department. I tried to install Xhelp 0.77 and facing this problem.

Does any ones have same problem with me?
and could you help me to fix it?

I create a Department

- Modify this Department, get error as:
Error: no department id was specified.

- Modify email box for this Department, and get error as:

Could not find Department ID. Aborting.

I searched in this website, and cannot see this error.

I tried do download some of another version and get same error.


Could you help me how to fix it?

Unfortunately this module is discontinued. The module developer ackbarr last logged in 2007/10/6

but I think that there are some ones can support me.

I think that the problem is PHP code, but I do not know it.

Does any ones support me?

Hope you can get a good result for this problem.

I have contact with ackbarr by PM, but I think that he leave XOOPS already.
