Hi, I am new to the forum but I have a site where XOOPS is installed ( should be a 2002 - 2003 version )

Session Id reads : $Id: session.php 2 2005-11-02 18:23:29Z skalpa $

PROBLEM IS :

if I login with IE ( any version ) - it takes me back to my start page.

However there is no problem with Firefox browser

Probably a unique problem.

I have the same problem using XOOPS 2.0.18 in a BT Internet Browser in the UK, but I can Login using Firefox. So I will be using Firefox from now on.

is there any problem if I just upload the new session.php file
( latest download )

to my older version or will it brake.

the new session.php has about 110 more lines in code
