Looking for Calendar module which sends email on event?

Hi

I have tried downloading and installing a few calendar modules but have yet to find a calendar module which can be used by individuals like Google Calendar and has the ability to send an email when an event is about to occur.

Does anybody know of such a calendar module?

Extcal (http://www.zoullou.net/) 2.0.4 has a "Who's Going?" function that allows users to add their name to the an event. The webmaster/module admin can send an email to all those users who've added their name.

This isn't automatic, though.

I'm assuming that the new v2.2.0 retains the above finctionallity but I don't know if automatic emails as been added to module with this update.

I guess I'd better update soon

Hi,

You couldn't make scheduled task with PHP. To do that you have to have an external program (like unix Cron) to call your PHP script.

Users can choose to have new calendar events added to their XOOPS notifications? Like an opt-in.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.
