I would like to see a better designed XOOPS admin theme. I think some people can be off put by XOOPS because it does not look snazzy in the looks department even though the core might be a lot better than a lot of other CMSs out there.

This is probably is not the place to discuss improving the interface. But has anyone any experience in improving the CSS and design of it? I have recently looked at impress cms and I can see they have made some changes that look better. For example when they bring into focus an editable field then it changes color. Perhaps the colors can also be changed a little bit so it can look a little lighter.

Does anyone have experience in this or have any more ideas how we could improve it. If this can be a forum to suggest practical changes to the admin theme from experienced XOOPS users/developers then I would be happy to invest my time to implement this.

But seriously, of course we would like to release it ASAP, but it's depending on testing. We are working now on a Beta release. You can help us by testing the Alpha 3 release and reporting any bugs...
