Xoops Alpha 3 - template file not compiled on module install

hi i'm making a module which runs fine on 2.0.18 but when trying to install it on Alpha 3 release 2 of my templates one of which includes xajax are not compiled while all others compile just fine! Any ideas why this is happening??

I tried uploading empty files and the installation worked fine!! what could be the prob??

You could a bit of code in the template that doesn't agree with 2.30 for some reason. Turn on smarty debugging while updating the template amd see if that tells you anything?

it was some greek characters hard coded in the template that was causing the problem...thanks for your help mate!

what is going on with XOOPS and utf-8 support?? anybody knows?

We are hoping to have it fully implemented as quickly as possible. Not an easy job but we are getting there.
