Is it possible to move ForumEx threads and posts to NewBB? I started out with ForumEx becuase it was simple, but I think newBB is the way to go.

The problem is I am a XOOPS newbie and am not sure if it can be done without alot of work....

I don't want to lose my posts and threads etc...someone plz help me!

I'd actually recommend the D3Forum module, much more secure (Cbb/Newbb has issues some regarding security).

If so, what is it you don't like about it, it's just normally Hervé's work is spot on.

Newbbex was based much on Newbb which is now CBB, I'd imagine the databases would be similar so transfer the data shouldn't be too difficult, I wouldn't know without looking at the two though.

If they are similar it should be too much work, but you will still need to get your hands dirty.
