When someone tries to be a member of the site they get a blankpage after filled in register forms and post it

Timpa, this is Alpha release, i.e. it's NOT for a production site.

This is ONLY for testing purposes, i.e. you test and report all the bugs to the developer

If you want to use it on a production site, you need to use the latest stable release, which is 2.0.18.1. Download it from here, install it, and you should be OK.

Please note, you probably will have to start from scratch, and will lose the data from the current installation.
