This is not easy, but not impossible. I am testing 2 instances running at pickenscounty.net, a business directory and a church directory.

first you have to go into the sql file and change the prefix from xdir_ to something else. then you have to go through every file to find where it makes a call to the database and replace the xdir_ with whatever you changed it to in your sql file. also change the table prefix in the XOOPS version file. then you can modify the language files to suit your needs. be sure to change the directory name before uploading so as not to overwrite any files. I think that will do it
