MySQL Version: latest
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Unsure
Operating System: Unsure
Theme you are using: lucastds02b
Custom template: (Yes/No) Not sure
PHP Debug Messages: None
MySQL Debug Messages: None
Smarty Debug Messages: None
A full description of the issue: When I click the Register page as a guest, I get this:

Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area.
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

I've searched for issues on this topic, and yet there was one that wasn't helpful at all.

what XOOPS version are you using ? 2.018 is the latest stable version

..you need to give permission to users/anonymous user in the group section in admin panel or please check the module preferences

2.0.18.1 is the latest version.

You also need to set "Allow new user registration?" to "Yes" in Admin>Preferences>User Info Settings

But yeah, check permissions in Admin>Groups and make sure the the "Anonymous" group has the access rights that it should.

I'm using the latest stable version.

And to the best of my knowledge everything is fine. But what permissions exactly so I can make sure they have what they need?

OH I figured it out. >>; I didn't realize extended profiles was a necessity. Sorry <<;
