Ignoring some modules from global search

Hi all,
is possible to ignore some modules from global search ?
I've 2 or 3 modules that I don't like to show in global search options and global search results.
Is possible ? How ?

The best and only way I think you can do this is thus:

1. Open xoops_version.php in the module folder you wish to remove from global search.
2. Look for the following line:
Quote:
$modversion['hasSearch'] = 1;


and change it to:
Quote:
$modversion['hasSearch'] = 0;

3. Update the module from the XOOPS module admin cpanel.

Hopefully this module wont be a part of the global search no more.

Lol tnx I try ... after settings I must remove and reinstall modules ?

You may try happy_search! With it you are free from editing PHP files like catzwolf's advice. It has google search function and is much better than xoops's default search.

First install happy_linux (framework)
http://linux.ohwada.jp/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=1&lid=65

Then install happy_search
http://linux.ohwada.jp/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=1&lid=67
