After the upgrade i m no longer able to deactivate the modules, or change the weight of the modules or rename them etc.

When i try to change any of these things and click the submit button, i m instead of going to the confirm action page, go to the system admin page.

I m using XOOPS 2.0.18.1

Please help me, have no idea of what i should do.

Are you able to do anything else in admin, such as chance theme, check for new templates, etc?

Can you add forum posts, news items and other content away from the admin panel?

I had this problem when my host updated to php 5.2.5 from 5.2.3 and added a couple of extra php functions into the bargain.

[edit]
Are you able to refresh the "system" module?

Do you have suhosin installed? If yes please check if it drops SQL queries selecting high number of modules one time.

Check if suhosin installed by a command: php -v

For example, I have 25 modules installed. When I tried to de-activate a module, XOOPS selects these 25 then suhosin dropped that query. I solved this problem by increasing a variable called max_vars to a high number, around 200.

I m able to do everything including updating of modules. Theme change is also possible. Not able to add posts in cbb 3.08 but d3forum is working fine.

If you mean update systems module, then yes.

Do you have suhosin installed? If yes please check if it drops SQL queries selecting high number of modules one time.

Please see my above post to know about suhosin - it's a PHP extension to secure PHP codes.

Place a file called foo.php with the following content
   phpinfo();
?>

under XOOPS_ROOT_PATH then access it via a browser, look into the page displayed then to see if it reads something like:

PHP 5.2.x (cli) (built: Nov 14 2007 03:53:35)

Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2007 Zend Technologies

(you can search "suhosin").

I am now absolutely believe that your problem is caused by suhosin. Follow the link in my first reply to solve it. Good luck!
