fatal error- Out of memory

I have just changed my webhost. After changing the webhost i seem to be getting a fatal error saying out of memory. What should i be doing to correct this problem. The error is

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1048576) (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/nmshah/public_html/kernel/object.php on line 509


I m using XOOPS 2.0.18.1
Php 5.2.5
mysql 5.0.45
Apache version 1.3.39 (Unix)
