Hi,

Is there a way how I can "tell" the system where to search, when people are using the search option?
I noticed that, when you use the advanced search option, XOOPS give some thick boxes for modules where to search in.

But not all the modules, that are interesting to search in, are mentioned.

Also I made a block, to display data from a tabel in the database.
I like to have this block searchable.

Any help is welcome,

Best regards,
Jans

Hi,

The modules need to be coded to make use of XOOPS search. Some are not and will not apear in the list of modules.

I think custom blocks are not searchable. You will need to make your own module or use one with search function.

Can you tell me how they are coded?

I made an own module by now, yet very simple and basic.
I think, when I have an answer on the first part, it will solve this one as well, or .......?
