Hi all,
can anyone tell me how to disable xoopsgallery via MySQL or any other method as my host has upgraded to php5 and i cant get the site working...looking round the site today i find the cause is this module....cant log in to the admin page to do it so any help would be appreciated

Go to the xoops-modules table and find the module xoopsgallery. Edit this record and change the field isactive from 1 to 0

Now the xoopsgallery module is deactivated.

p.s. you can use version 1.39 it's working fine with php5

The link on that post takes you to a disabled site

Tried that and still getting the same error

"Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/*********/public_html/**********/site/modules/xoopsgallery/classes/Album.php on line 412"

Are you able to log into your site still?

If you're able try typing this after logging in:

http://www.yourdomain.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin

maybe by going directly to moduleadmin you're able to de-install xoopsgallery...

nope...all i get is that message...cant get onto anything else

what's the domain your site is on? Have you tried logging in by typing http://www.yourdomain.com/user.php

tried that...still the same

at the point of deleting it and starting again ;-(
