Xoopsaddons has been removed from the module repository links.

IT is best to not route the users through impresscms. Especially when a simple search can find the direct link.

I did not send a user to impresscms. If I did it would still be none of your business.

Why on earth would the link to XOOPS addons be removed from this module repository.

The repository here is in shambles. 95 percent of the modules in the repository do not work! Every new user that comes here has to be hand held like a child to get them up and running with xoops.

Xoops is so easy to use yet this website points every new user to non working modules. This is BS

The best thing to do is close / delete module repository. Then start a new one.

Until then I will point the user where the best solution is.

Do me a favor stop telling me what to do and mind your own #OOPS# business.

Then you won't have a reason to send people off site to find modules and I won't have a reason to complain about it...

BTW: go through the routine to get it from addons... it takes four pages and five click throughs to get the the same addess we provide in one click on our site.

BS have you ever installed the modules from the repository on this site? Give them a try with 2.0.18... Most of the modules have not worked since at least v2.0.13

Those modules have been in the XOOPS repository along time. It seems to me from about v2.0.7... Don't quote me but im close.

Heck the rmsoft module that all this started over in the other thread doesn't work! It has issues as well.

So in a nut shell why would I point a user to this repository?

Do you think all the links should stay here at XOOPS even if its a bad module or info?
