auto image resize on img tag - newbbex ?

does anyone how to do this ?

i would like all large images in an IMG Tag will be resized after the site has loaded. With a click on the resized imge, it will open in an new window with the original size.

in cbb there is option to do this..

i've seen some example in other forum software that use script to do this

example : ipb 1.3+

can this script be converted to be use in newbbex/xoops ?
