I've got a little big trouble. I was trying to upload a html page named index into www folder of my server host. There I've got three directories two of whom have xoop's site:

http://www.estudimultimedia.net/cineclubmanresa
http://www.estudimultimedia.net/vigerm

On both cases it shows:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /cineclubmanresa on this server.
Apache/1.3.39 Server at www.estudimultimedia.net Port 80

I've download index.html file but it still doesn't work at all. What it could be?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Re: "Forbideen"

Do you have access to your .htaccess file through your file manager?

Maybe you accidently disallowed all from access.

Those would be the areas I would check into first.

Then contact my server company and asked if they had made any changes in my account services.

you should be uploading to htdocs/

usually the www folder is a linked folder storing mirrored images of your htdocs folder.

your domain should be pointing to htdocs.

I have checked everything. I have acces to everthing and I've checked my server.
I don't know if I have done something wrong when I upload that html page, but before this everyhting was ok.

There isn't an problem with the hdocs folder, either with .htacces file.

Could it be anything else?

Google shows you did have those directories...
The parent directory is dated as having been made after your subdirectories. Which looks like a problem to me.

having been created 5th of december, 2007 - being sometime after your having installed the previous directories.

It appears to me your server is having a problem or you have a problem with your account. (not xoops)

Looking at the source code on your error message, it is a 403 error.

RE: the 403 error you are getting...
This indicates a fundamental access problem, which may be difficult to resolve because the HTTP protocol allows the Web server to give this response without providing any reason at all. So the 403 error is equivalent to a blanket 'NO' by your Web server - with no further discussion allowed.

cineclubmanresa/modules/news/index.php?storytopic=3

It appears to be a server block.
