I need a quotes module that will automatically display a new quote from a lost of quotes everyday on my website. I m not able to find any XOOPS module to do so (pls correct me if i m wrong). There are certain other php scripts that can help me with it, but these require to add a include statement

<?php
include('quote/display.php');
?>


to be used.

Can i use a include statement in custom blocks. Please help.

There is one, as my site has 100's....

Repository / Quotes
There did use to be one users could submit to also....

thanks for the suggestion but still i require a bit more features that these modules do not have. For example fixing the period for which a quote displays. So can you also suggest me on how to use the include statement in the XOOPS custom block so that i can use an external script to do the same.

You can set the cache on the Random Quotes block on the time value you wish to set, mine is on every hour so a single quote is kept for that long....
