I am releasing an updated version of Michel Barakat's original module cafepress. This version corrects an issue with fopen socket and now uses CURL instead.

Information
Cafepress Shop is a small module which allows a holder of a Cafepress.com store to display his products as part of his XOOPS web site. The store will actually be embedded to the XOOPS web interface as if the store is directly hosted on the web site. The module also includes a block which displays a random product from the store with the possibility to show or hide the price and description of the product.

Can you explain why do you use CURL ?

Many people don't use CURL, because share server don't allowed...

I remember that Cafepress has got a Web services, but I think that you have to request your API key.

Hi Marco,

If you check the links on both pages you will see that they both point to the dev.xoops.org and that site is down at the moment.

I would have tried the latest version but I couldn't find it. So I used the version on the XOOPS addon site, V1.01.

I used CURL due to the fact that the hosting company that we use for gameinatrix.com doesn't allow the usage of fopen but does allow CURL (Like most hosting services do, as I was aware anyway).

I just wanted to get it back up and running asap and i didn't really have the time to play around with their API at the moment, but if someone as a working version that uses their API, let me have a copy and I will use that instead.

It's not working for me. There's no admin section and no way to set preferences, so I can't change the view from your shop to mine.

Also, the files were not packed in a "wfcafepress" folder, so you have to create it and then upload files to it. Is that by design, or did I get a defective version?

Which version of XOOPS are you using? And would it be possible to have a look at the admin section of your site? If so could you send me a PM regarding details etc or by email?
