Home page went blank - cannot log in

i selected a new theme and now my homepage is blank. i don't even have the login and password boxes. is there a file that i can edit so that everything goes back to the default theme?

Go to your database, for example via phpmyadmin, find table yourprefix_config, then:
conf_id=7
conf_name=theme_set
and change conf_value to: default

This should help...
