Hello All
When users are registering to one of my sites, they don't get marked as belonging into any group.
I looked at the MySql tables , but don't have a clue where to look for the problem ....
the database was altered a few times for charset changes, and all is fine exept of this issue.
I looked at the users table and tryed to compare it to other XOOPS sites, but still no clue.
Hope someone faced it before and will be able to help
I'm using XOOPS 2.2.4

Some side effects I forgot to mention:
1. my 3 basic groups can be deleted (not as it should be)
2. I deleted a lot of user accounts ( so it might be something as described in here:https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=59753&viewmode=flat&order=ASC&start=10 )

check the _groups_users_link table for the groupid on one of the new users. what groupid are they assigned?

is it 2? if so then check the _groups table and see a groupid that is equal to 2 (Registered Users). if both are ok then idk what is wrong.

is it not 2? then check if define('XOOPS_GROUP_USERS', '2'); is present in mainfile.php.
