Hi there
After some suddenly changes in server, which they used a backup of 1 weak before (it removed all the files was uploaded during the week, but database was correct)I have a problem with xcgal module.
When I want to go to the admin part of this module, I face this error:

Content Encoding Error (content_encoding_error)

Server response could not be decoded using encoding type returned by server.
This is typically caused by a Web Site presenting a content encoding header of one type, and then encoding the data differently.

For
assistancecontact your network support team.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem?
Thanks

I think you need to ask some questions of your web-host.

Do you have a local copy/backup of all your files? If so then upload the whole lot, overwriting when is on the server.

Which version of xcgallery are you using?

Which PHP version is the server running?

In fact, many times I did overwrite all files and even when I recently upgraded to version 2.0.17.1 nothing have changed!

exgallery version is 2.02 and php version is 5.2.1

It seems that's an strange error cause I see most of XOOPS users don't know something special about it.
but can you tell me what I must exactly ask of my server?

I guess that we need some more info:

- In what language is your site, English or other?
- If not English, do the English versions of the mentioned modules work?

It seems to me that there is an encoding problem with your restored database "Content Encoding Error". I have seen encoding incompatibilities among bucked up and restored files.

My site is in Persian language. and those modules were working for months and suddenly the problems happened!

But yesterday, I don't know how, all of them were solved! I think there were good changes in server, but I wish I know the reason of such problems basically, cause it's possible that someday it happens again!
