global search donnot pick any mediawiki entries

I have installed mediawiki 1.71 in my XOOPS 2.0.16. My problem is, that I cannot find any results with the search engine of xoops.
Any ideas?

no ideas?

The mediawiki-internal search is working! The Xoops-Search give me no results.

What are the next steps to get global search results?

I hope you can help me.

My MediaWiki is a stand alone program. It is not intergrated with Xoops. For this reason XOOPS does not either/or can not search it.

Although this does not help the original poster BS - try
Happy Search - and use the Google option to add your stand alone site to your XOOPS based ones.

Actually the original poster should try this module as well... Google may pick up the results better then the normal search.
