I have just upgraded from XOOPS 2.0.13 to 2.0.17 everything went fine with the excpetion, that on inital login for the webmasters you are logged out when you attemp to access the admin area. once you log back in everything works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using custom sessions? Or, the other suggestion in the release notes?

No, I haven't tried using custom sessions. How would I do that?

Administration menu > System Admin > Preferences > General Settings :: Use custom session
